The photo on the left was taken in May 2025 where I’d already lost 3st. I loved the outfit, I still do, but I was constantly tired and exhausted. I’ve now lost 6st 8.5lbs in 2.5 years! This journey started in January 2024.

The photo on the right was taken this weekend. You might have guessed, I’m in New York. 🗽

I’ve still got some way to go. I’ve had more “start agains”, “I’ll start next week” and “I just wish my head was in it” moments than I care to remember.

But here’s what I’ve learned.

If you’re unhappy with your weight, if you avoid photos, if you don’t feel comfortable in your own clothes, or you’re simply exhausted all the time, you can’t afford to give up on yourself.

There isn’t one magic answer. Medication can help. Surgery can help. A great support group can help. But none of them replace the small choices you make every day. The real change comes from deciding that you’re worth fighting for, even on the days when it feels hard.

Please don’t let another week become another month, or another year, of wishing things were different.

Richard has lost an incredible 7st 13lb in just 11 months. But what makes this even more impressive is that he has now maintained that weight loss for the last 8 months.

There is nothing better than seeing a before and after like this.

Losing weight is one thing. Learning how to keep it off is where real lifestyle change happens, and Richard has proved exactly that.

Absolutely brilliant, Richard. You should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.
