We are still at a loss for words over this great tragedy, but we are so grateful to be in the thoughts and prayers of so many. Our concerns and prayers are for both the Pickle and Wilbanks families.
Both of these deputies have served our county with honor and dignity.
We are blessed to have served with Deputy Dylan Pickle and look forward to the return of Deputy Zack Wilbanks.
We are grateful for all the Hamilton first responders, Medstat, and the medical staff at NMMC who did all they could do for Dylan, and who continue to treat Zack.
Thank you all again for all the prayer, support and encouragement.

We were blessed again this past weekend in Aberdeen by a group of awesome people who wanted to show their support for Law Enforcement here in our County.
There were many who came together to feed us and give us masks for the jail staff and inmates.
Maybe Mrs Ashley Provias can list them here. Thank you guys so much for opening your home and blessing us this 4th of July!!

Tiger Food Mart in Hatley provides lunch to law enforcement officers as a show of support #wcbinews

22/06/2020

I wanted to take a minute out of this Monday to say I was encouraged by the unity march events in Amory and Aberdeen these past two weekends.

Though we are Definitely more diverse in our opinions than our skin tone or culture, everyone has a right to speak out about their convictions and to work to bring about positive change.

With everything going on in our nation right now, I am thankful to live and serve in this community. I know things are not perfect here, but it is hopeful to see us moving in a positive direction.

Thank you for thinking of all of us!

Sure would be nice if y’all would patrol these walking track parking lots, after dark. All kinds of shady stuff goes on around mid-night. I would call but it took 45 minutes to get a deputy out last time. The folks involved in that fight were long gone.
There is ALOT of high speed traffic like 70 MPH plus on old 25 between greenbrier and new 25 beside chims small emerging repair. Some even drag race to the point the elderly folks can’t go to their mail box. This happens more between 5-9 pm. Could y’all look into this I mean maybe let MHP run it.
There are cars and trucks driving extremely fast down littlecoontail rd not watching for little kids. I have kids and lots not safe at all. Is there anyway yall can patrol the rd.
Can the deputies be on the lookout for the vehicles traveling down Coontail Road running the light bars at night? It is several different vehicles. Thanks for all you do!
Can I go sit in the parking lot so my child can complete her school work that’s required without get ticketed? I read the article in the Daily Journal.
Kudos Monroe County Sheriff Office and Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department: Quick and Professional Response to an automobile accident in front of our home last night. Thanks for all you do. (Herschell and Leslie)
Thanks for the invite... Proud of our New Sheriff’s Department... May God keep you all safe..
