The Divergent Engineers Bazaar - there will be no Stormtroopers over the weekend. Apologies if you were looking forward to this. There are other events going on, such as music and a steampunk author. This is a free, family friendly weekend.

There will be no walking group in Kilsyth on Wednesday 2nd September. This will return on Wednesday 9th September. Meet at Kilsyth Library at 10am. There will be no drop in at Coatbridge Library on Thursday 3rd September. This will return on Thursday 10th September at Coatbridge Library, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Friend Autism Scotland is hosting The Divergent Engineers Bazaar at Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, Coatbridge on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2026. There will be live entertainment on Saturday - Big Sister Shaz and Mark McColl. There will be comedy and there will be Mike the Reluctant Author, talking about his steampunk novels. On Sunday there will be comedy, music will be from Will Stott and Murray. There will be stormtroopers from Star Wars over the weekend. There will be traders from steampunk and charities, such as NHS Lanarkshire who can advise on neurodivergence and children. It is a free event and family friendly.

The walking group on a Friday at Tesco's Faraday park will no longer continue. Instead, there is a fishing group on Tuesday afternoon. If this is of interest, please contact for information. There will be no scheduled events by Friend from Tuesday 11th August to Tuesday 18th August. This means no drop-in, walking group in Kilsyth or fishing group for this week. These events will return from 19th August.

The walking group at Tesco's Faraday Park, Coatbridge will not be on today. It will return next Friday 17th July at Tesco's cash machine, then a walk will commence. Meet at 12 midday.
