🚨 Please watch 😭 4 lives lost this week.

This is the reality right now.
Polly’s house is dealing with utter devastation.
We are now 90% certain this is the most fatal mutant strain of FIP “fcov-23” we cannot be certain until we postmortem someone, but sadly due to timings of Liverpool university being open, and the bank holiday, we have been unable to do this…. And I’m praying we lose no more lives…. But if we do, we will be heading straight to Liverpool for PM. We haven’t been able to send anyone due to the timeframe lapsing in which they would need to be there.
Unfortunately every single blood test, sample and everything else done is pointing towards this. We have not seen this strain before, and are damn proud of our success rates of treating FIP…. We barely lose any…. And have treated hundreds, so to be dealing with this? It’s unreal and knocking us all for six. Bella and Polly are heartbroken. 💔

Our Cavan invoice has just landed and the amount due is 11k - that’s due in 2 weeks time. It’s that much because every day of this week we have had critical cases in oxygen, and having ICU care daily. It’s been unimaginable.
And yes we get discount, and yes our vets help as much as possible……

We have 3 kittens still in the vets… and we know anything could change at any given moment. This is so rapid, and has an altered cell entry, which means the specific deletion of the spike protein of the virus enters the body’s cells rapidly and spreads at an alarming speed.

Our vets are in contact with the FIP specialists for further guidance and advice.

In my opinion, this is taking them faster than the dreaded panleuk.

We need to raise funds fast, the bill needs paying in 2 weeks, but we also need to pay this weekends bills, and with 3 kittens still in the vets on drips etc… well. 😭😭😭

I hate begging. I feel like it’s all we do lately. But if anyone hasn’t donated and could help, please do 😭😭 Thank you 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

Meg has been enjoying some garden time this morning now that it’s finally stopped raining!
He is the most gentle boy - not bothered at all by my other cats, and just wants to come and sit with you for company.
