ROAD CLOSURE

Road name - Wasing Lane
Exact Location and extent of closure - From its junction with Unnamed Road from Wasing Road to Wasing Lane and its junction with Dolphin Close
Date - 1st September 2026
Times - 09:30 to 15:30
Reason for closure - Replace pole and pole testing
Works Promoter - Openreach

GreenFest 2026 ( https://www.natureandclimatenetwork.co.uk/greenfest.html )

Greenfest is a free, community project with wonderful family activities, to celebrate and encourage all things sustainable across West Berkshire and beyond.

We hope to welcome some 2,000 people to St Bart's School on Saturday 24th October, double last year's figure. We are determined to showcase all the ways that people can make a positive difference for nature and climate, engaging people with a huge West Berkshire welcome! We very much hope that yourselves and lots of your parishioners will join us.

A reminder of the Residents' hotline for the upcoming Medicine Festival

Date(s) - 17th -25th August 2026
Times - 07:00 to 19:00 Lights will be manually controlled due to traffic sensitive road.
Reason for temporary lights - New Services
Works Promoter - Southern Gas Networks PLC

*Aldermaston Recreation Ground & Playground*

The Recreation Ground and Playground in Aldernmaston will be closed to the public from 19th August for approximately 3 days.
This is due to the fencing being removed and renewed.
The path between the Hinds Head and Hilliers may also not be accessible at times, but this will be kept to minimum and only closed where absolutely necessary.

We appreciate your understanding during these works.
