Tonight New Kyo and Oxhill Partnership meet outside New Kyo Constitution Club (The Monkey) to start their litter pick they are always looking for volunteers and local people to come and help so please if you have some spare time tonight and would like to help make a really difference, join them 5.30pm

Reminder that our Litter Detectives session takes place tomorrow at 5.30pm, meeting outside The Monkey New Kyo Club. This is a family litter picking activity with educational activity sheets via CleanupUK; adult members of the community are welcome too if you want to come along ! All participating children will receive a free drink and have the opportunity to enter a competition by submitting their Litter Detective findings (info on the activity sheets). We look forward to seeing you there 🙂

🎨☕ Something new is coming to Annfield Plain Community Centre! ☕

Do you enjoy crafting, fancy a chat over a cuppa, or simply want to meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming space?

Eva Pendleton is launching Make & Mingle, a brand new group she has created for people who enjoy crafting, creativity and good company.

Whether you’re into knitting, crochet, card making, sewing, painting or any other craft, or you just fancy coming along for a friendly chat and seeing what it’s all about, Eva would love to welcome you.

The aim is simple… to create a friendly, supportive group where people can enjoy each other’s company, make new friends, share ideas, learn from one another and build a wonderful community together.

💜 FREE taster session: Thursday 20th August, 10am to 12 noon

After that, sessions will be held fortnightly from 10am to 12 noon, with tea, coffee and cake included for just £3 per session.

If you’ve been thinking about getting out a little more, finding a new hobby or meeting like-minded people, why not come along and give it a try? You don’t have to be an expert. Just bring yourself (and your craft if you have one!) and enjoy a lovely couple of hours.
