After a little ride out today, I thought I'd give Gedling Road the 'bike test'.
It passed admirably.

Hotbox Crews, JCB Pothole Pro’s, Mastic Boiler Crews all out daily repairing the roads .And a winter plan in progress that will be the best ever .
The largest investment any County Council has ever delivered in such a short period.
All record breaking under Reform .

Here they are getting down temporary contour repairs on Greendale Rd.
Unscheduled, much needed work taking place with just a little bit of common sense and efficient working.

I can now report that Derwent Crescent is now accessible and the Roadmender Mastic crew have been out repairing the crater at the junction of Cranmore and Ashington Dr.
I love the mastic repairs. Fast, clean and permanent.
