An easy led walk for people living with dementia and their carers, open to all who would benefit from the support of our friendly group. Discover the beautiful landscape, culture and wildlife of the area. Walk lasts approx., one hour. No need to book, just turn up.

This week is Volunteers’ Week where we celebrate the many wonderful volunteers who help make a difference in our National Landscape helping us to care for our environment. We have lots of volunteering opportunities from litter picks to habitat and access management. Our grateful thanks to you all.

Our friends at Sustainable Arnside are hosting a Cuckoo Lunch this Sunday - sign up and come along!

Are you curious? Register on our website for a delicious lunch, some performance and some understanding. We will be sharing food and discussing the plight of the cuckoo. What can we do to help the cuckoo and many other species that are struggling to survive?

Now this is our kind of spectator sport! Our annual dry stone walling competition is this Saturday at Barkin House Farm near Kendal. Come and watch wallers at work! It's a free event and makes for a great day out.
