🛒 New month, new stock at Rocklands Community Shop!

We’ve had lots of new goodies arriving on the shelves, from sweet treats and chilled desserts to drinks, cupboard essentials and more.

Keep an eye out for Cadbury Biscoff treats, Rainbow Drops, Jelly Tots, Candy Kittens, Rubicon Cherry Burst, new energy drinks, Strawberry Cheesecake desserts, Cottage Cheese, Pink Salmon and plenty more.

We’re always looking to give our customers a good mix of everyday essentials, useful household items and something a little different to try. 💚

A new month is here, and we’d like to take a moment to say a big thank you to everyone who helps make Rocklands Community Shop what it is. 💚

To our managers, thank you for all the hard work, care and time you put in every day.

To our brilliant volunteers, thank you for giving your time so generously and helping keep the shop running for our community.

And to our customers, thank you for continuing to shop local, support us and choose Rocklands Community Shop. Every visit really does make a difference.

We’re incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community behind us, and we’re looking forward to another busy month ahead.

Bank Holiday Opening Hours 🕗

We’re open 8am–1pm today for all your everyday essentials.

From tomorrow, we’re back to our normal opening hours for the rest of the week:

🕗 Monday to Friday: 8am–5.30pm
🕗 Saturday: 8am–4pm
🕗 Sunday: 8am–1pm

Rocklands Community Shop is about much more than picking up the essentials. We’re here to serve our local community, support local producers where we can and help keep an important village service right here in Rocklands. 💚

These aren’t simply words on a page. They guide the way we work, the products we stock and the decisions we make.

We believe in communicating openly, listening to our community and continually improving the service we provide. We understand how important a village shop can be, particularly for older residents and people living in more isolated rural areas.

Most importantly, Rocklands Community Shop exists for the benefit of the community. Any trading surplus beyond the needs of the business can support local projects chosen by our members.

Local people supporting local people — that’s what we stand for.

From building site to community hub 💚

It’s hard to believe this is how Rocklands Community Shop once looked.

What began with bare walls, boarded windows and a great deal of hard work has grown into the welcoming shop, Post Office and café we know today.

That progress was only possible because local people gave their time, skills and support to help bring the shop to life. Every volunteer, customer and supporter has played a part in making it what it is today.

Behind Rocklands Community Shop is an incredible team of staff and volunteers who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to keep everything running.

Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the shop. They serve customers, stock shelves, share local knowledge and help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the shop such a special place.

Whether someone volunteers every week or lends a hand when they can, every contribution matters.

We believe a community is strongest when people come together, look out for one another and play a part in protecting the services they value. That spirit of teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.

Fresh flavours from a Norfolk favourite 🐟💚

We’re proud to stock a selection of products from G. R. Bunning & Co., a family-run fishmonger based in Cranworth, Norfolk.

Known locally as Bunning’s Fish, they offer quality fresh and frozen fish, shellfish and naturally smoked seafood, drawing on three generations of fishing experience.
