Google want to build a high polluting Data Centre on the site of Arena Essex. These data centres produce several hundred thousand tonnes of carbon dioxide, a year. Not an acceptable place to build as it will be right next to the A13, A283, A1306 and M25. The site is also well established with natural wildlife with some rare creatures. For an area that is already outside the WHO acceptable pollution levels and is known as the ‘Toxic Triangle’, this is yet another kick in the teeth for those of us in this area what with the PDI centre on Ship Lane and West Thurrock logistics park
