Very exciting to see the first hybrid battery/diesel train glide into Aylesbury station this week. Congrats Chiltern Railways on the new HybridFLEX which is quieter, quicker and better for the environment. Great for a garden town!

‘Grow It, Cook It, Eat It’, the new community garden at Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse opened this week. We’re delighted to have helped it get started in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council

Thank you to Cllr Bill Chapple, Vice Chair of the AGT Board and Cllr Anders Christensen, Town Mayor, for cutting the ribbon.

Food poverty has increased dramatically during the pandemic. Everyone should have access to fresh fruit and veg and the produce grown will be shared out through the Storehouse foodbank. There’s also a course to learn how to prep and cook it. If you’d like to volunteer in the garden or join the cooking course, contact [email protected]

Last night we joined the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity for their ‘End of the Rainbow’ event. It’s been a pleasure to work with them on the Nightingale's Rainbow which will be unveiled soon at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, as a tribute to the resilience and kindness of NHS staff and people of Bucks during the pandemic. We had a sneak peek last night and it looks amazing!

A big thank you to the hospice team for the special commemoration rainbow which Cllr Steve Bowles is holding 🧡🌈

We're delighted to be supporting Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity to fund the creation of the garden around the iconic Nightingale's Rainbow in the grounds of Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Big thank you to our Chair of Board, Cllr Gareth Willams, Deputy Leader of Buckinghamshire Council who dropped by to help with the Community Landscaping Day at the garden today, along with all the other local people who played a part including students from Ashmead Primary School seen in the picture. We can't wait until the Rainbow is officially unveiled!! 🌈😀
