12/03/2014
Hi all - I hope that 2014's going well for you so far!
Our usual space at the Kilmarnock Global Market this summer has been secured, and a list is open for those interested in taking a space. Dates are Thurs 29th May to Sun 1st June
Our pitch is near the Cross facing Bank Street and consists of two 3m x 3m marquees. A place is half of a marquee complete with 6-foot table, and I've started a list of crafters interested in booking.
Trading will be 9am to 6pm Thurs to Sat, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
As you'll know, the Global Market runs from Thurs to Sunday. It's a large scale market running the length of King Street and the Cross, featuring traders from around the world selling an exotic range of food, crafts and gifts.
The Global usually includes a German hot-dog grill, French patisserie, Dutch cheeses, German speciality sausage, Spanish paella, Greek deli, Belgian chocolate and wild boar and ostrich from South Africa, Thai and Indian food, hand crafted wooden ornaments, silver and amber jewellery and vases, knitted jumpers and woolens, leather goods, plants, garden furniture, and lots more.
As always at the Global, we are not to sell ready-to-eat food such as cakes, sweets or hot food.
The price for the full 4 days is £193.24 (£48.31 per day) and this includes the space itself, hire of the marquee, security, PR (local publicity is arranged by the organiser) and table hire & delivery.
I can offer you single days, but preference for the weekend spaces will be given to those who also book the Thurs or Fri.
Payment will be requested in advance, and I'll send out invoices once I've allocated you a space.
If you'd like to be at the Global this summer, get in touch soon.
