Thorpe Farm Centre is located on the A66 just ten miles west of Scotch Corner, giving fantastic access to North Yorkshire and County Durham. The Holiday Homes and Lodges are all set around a mature tree lined lake and all have masses of space around them with amazing garden areas. od features giving it a warm feel and atmosphere. We also have on site Wetheriggs Animal Rescue Centre who rescue house and re-home injured, abandoned & uncared for animals, they have a wide range of species from farm animals to exotic pets such as Tarantulas & Snakes. We have lots of animals in our outdoor paddocks so people can pet and feed them. Each year Thorpe Farm create a fantastic Maize Maze which is free to visitors, this maze is set near the amazing wetlands which are packed with bird species and wildlife the wetland have walks which lead to the Heritage woodland walks through our ancient woodlands. mountain bike trails are also available as are some fantastic walks on Thorpe Farm and the surrounding areas. The picturesque market town of Barnard Castle is only a few miles away and has all the shops restaurants and supermarkets you would expect in a large town. Another attraction is the Morritt Arms Hotel which is less than a fifteen minute walk from the park, the Morritt arms is very well known locally for its fantastic hotel, bar, fine dining and spa complex. We have a comprehensive range of Holiday Homes and Lodges for sale and on display, our holiday park is open twelve months of the year with no close down period, we have no age limits on the holiday homes or lodges and the fees are extremely affordable. all of our holiday homes and lodges are on piped gas running through individual metres. Thorpe Farm also has camping, touring caravans and seasonal pitches available.
