Our range of packs have been thoughtfully designed to minimise waste and make the most of the old items that are being repurposed. The cheerful colour combinations reflect the era that the materials came from, keeping the retro vibes and iconic pieces of camping history alive. We create limited collections and made-to-order packs, to avoid overproduction and waste. We also make custom

I’ve done a mini version and a midi version of the classic pitch (zip) so here is the midi version of the adventure pitch (clip top) all made from old tents of course!
It’s not available on the website yet as I’ll be making a few more colour combos first. But if you’d like to get your hands on one sooner then get in touch, I might even let you choose the colours…

We’re getting ready to go to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival so expect lots of festival spam this weekend.
Did you know most of the bags I have made in recent years are lined with abandoned tents from Belladrum festival?
Here’s hoping for less fly-camping this year! Because I really don’t need any more tents!
Maybe next year crackpacs will have a stall there, and sell people their old tents back to them…

Introducing the Wild pitch backpack. The first crackpacs multi day pack.
This backpack is made using old Scout tents, meaning the canvas is super thick and suitable for heavy use. Inspired by the Scouts and their long-standing advocacy for the great outdoors, making these bags brings back happy memories of hikes, campfires and nights spent under the stars(and rain clouds)
At 32+ litres capacity this pack is perfect for an overnighter in the woods.
The adjustable pack lid detaches completely to also be used as a separate ditty bag to keep your bits and bobs in around the camp.
With loads of other features packed in, this is my most favourite bag I have ever created. So much so I’m keeping this one for myself. But you can order one to be made from my web shop.

Made from retro tent canvas, this classic colour combo is keeping the retro vibes alive. I’ve also crammed as much reclaimed materials in to the design as possible, making this backpack completely unique.

It’s not just tent canvas that gets remade into my backpacks. Climbing rope. Caravan awning. Life jacket clips and padding. Ground sheets… In fact, almost no virgin-materials are used in their creation. The studio is also now powered by the sun (& cups of tea) ♻️

New colour combos for the adventure pitch backpack. Made from some newly acquired, old tents. The clips are also upcycled from old life jackets. And, of course, retired climbing rope to match. Available on the website very soon…

This is the latest product from crackpacs. The frontpack. Pretty much the same as the backpack, only a little bit backwards… I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before!
