GARNOCK VALLEY CARVES

I again enjoyed being one of the judges at Saturday’s annual Garnock Valley Carves event in Beith.

Carvers came from Canada to Germany, with the latter providing Sylvia Itzen-Bucholz.

Thanks to the army of volunteers who made the event possible, the carvers who sculpted using chainsaws and most of all, Norrie and Rose Brown who put their heart and soul into making Garnock Valley Carves such a success each year.

As some people were struggling to confirm stall bookings before our closure deadline of last Friday, we have extended this until midnight on Monday. However, please note that after this time we will not be accepting any further bookings for this year's event.

A further reminder that stall bookings are required to be made via our website at wwwgarnockvalleycarves.com

***Urgent reminder***

As advised previously, the closing date for getting a stall at GVC 23 is 17:00 on Fri 21st July.

We regret that we are unable to accept stall applications after this time.

Thank goodness all our carvers are professionals and are very safety conscious, not like this guy.

You Asked - We Listened...

We had quite a bit of feedback last year regarding card payments and the local cash machines just not being able to cope with the demands on the day, so we are please to announce that this years event will be the first Garnock Valley Carves, accepting card payments for entry, car parking and quick carve auctions!

We will have a card machine on each gate, which accept all major credit and debit cards, however, we will still have a cash option, should you wish to pay that way.

Just a reminder that entry is £5 per Adult, £10 per Family of 4 and £5 per vehicle in the car park.

Please note that parking is on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee a space for any vehicles that leave then return to site. Car park passes will be issued, so you won't have to pay twice.
