Slippery when wet!
The hot weather has gone (for now) and we’ve had rain…
Be prepared to slow down and be extra careful when driving or riding as roads can be extra slippery in the wet after along period of dry weather.
Give those on two wheels extra space, as they are especially vulnerable to a slippery road surface (stock photos).

A split second of laughter could cost a lifetime of tears...

Inhaling nitrous oxide behind the wheel can leave you dizzy, disorientated, and unable to react when it matters most. One moment of recklessness could end in a serious collision, life-changing injuries, or a fatality. https://orlo.uk/hdCz2
No high is worth a life. Keep your hands on the wheel, your mind on the road, and get home safely.

Later today the UK will experience a partial solar eclipse (18:00 – 20:15) where the moon moves in front of the sun (stock image). During the partial eclipse the light will get dimmer and the temperature can drop. If you’re driving be extra alert as other people may become distracted, putting themselves and you at risk.

Never look direct at an eclipse and normal sunglasses won’t offer you protection.
