* Check in visits
* Practical support around the home
* Meal preparation
* Social visits/social outings
* Accompany to Hospital/GP appointments
* Helping people remain independent in their own homes

✅ No previous care experience? No problem.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

✨ Back to work after a wonderful family holiday! ✨

I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing clients and their families for your patience, understanding and continued trust while I was away. It truly means so much.

I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to our incredible team. Your professionalism, compassion and unwavering commitment ensured our clients continued to receive the high standard of support they deserve throughout my absence. I couldn’t be prouder of everything you do.

Taking time away has reminded me just how fortunate I am to lead such a dedicated team and to support such wonderful clients and families. I return feeling refreshed, motivated and excited for everything that lies ahead.

At Village Care & Support Humber, we’re so grateful for the wonderful relationships we’ve built with our clients and the commitment of our fantastic staff. Thank you all for your continued support—it never goes unnoticed.

We would like to kindly let our clients, families and followers know that myself and my family will be taking some much-needed family time away on holiday.

During this time, Village Care & Support Humber will continue to operate as usual. Our office number and mobile number will remain available, and one of our lovely team members will be happy to assist with any enquiries, messages or support needs.

Today, Kelly had the pleasure of accompanying one of our lovely clients to our local garden centre for a delightful cream tea lunch. Surrounded by a warm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and friendly conversation, she enjoyed a freshly baked scone with jam and cream alongside a relaxing cup of coffee.

Honouring D-Day in Our Community 🇬🇧

Yesterday, one of our valued clients enjoyed a memorable day out with support from the team at Village Care and Support Humber, attending the local D-Day commemorations.

The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the bravery, sacrifice, and service of those who took part in the D-Day landings and the wider efforts of World War II. It was wonderful to see our client immersed in the atmosphere, enjoying the parade and joining the community in marking such an important occasion.

At Village Care and Support Humber, we are passionate about supporting people to remain active, connected, and engaged in the things that matter most to them. Community outings like these help create meaningful experiences, promote wellbeing, and celebrate treasured memories.

This week, our wonderful Support Worker, Lisa, enjoyed one-to-one social outings with two of our clients. Mrs D spent a lovely afternoon enjoying lunch in a beautiful garden centre café, while Mr J enjoyed a relaxing coffee outing and friendly conversation.

These outings are an important part of the personalised support we provide, helping people maintain independence, build confidence, reduce social isolation, and enjoy meaningful experiences within their local community.

We are incredibly proud to sponsor the fantastic U8s Kingswood Barracudas team and to see them crowned Championship League Winners today! 🎉

Their hard work, determination, teamwork, and passion throughout the season have paid off in the best possible way. Watching these young players develop their skills, support each other, and achieve success together has been truly inspiring.
