To celebrate Foster Care Fortnight, our carers came together for another fantastic Walk and Talk session🚶‍♀️💬

It was a great opportunity to connect, share experiences, and support one another while enjoying some fresh air together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to make such a positive difference for children and young people in our community. 💙

✨ A special day in the life of our Foster Carers ✨

This week, Bexley foster carers Jemal and Jim attended The Fostering Network & Foundations event at the Houses of Parliament, a fantastic and inspiring experience for them both.

They joined around 100 foster carers and social workers from across the UK, heard uplifting speeches recognising the vital work carers do, and learned about the rollout of the new Foundations Fostering Practice Guide. Lord Watson also announced £12.4 million in government funding to modernise foster care.
