It’s goodbye from me!

Thank you to everyone who has given me a great 5 years here working at the Community Centre and for the CPT, it’s been an absolute privilege. Thanks also go out to all the trades that have helped me keep on top of maintaining the whole of the Little Bickington site, the CPT strive to use local companies and will continue to do so in the future.

Your new manager is called Rowan White and I am sure you will all join me in wishing her the best of luck.

Dog Walkers - Polite notice: Over the last couple of days there have been several piles of dog mess left on the path behind the Community Centre, please pick up after your dogs, it is unfair to other users. Thank you.

High Bickington CPT Ltd was created in 2004 with a vision to provide affordable homes, rental properties, workshops, allotments and community woodland along with the most spectacular Community Centre. In 2016 the project had been fulfilled, although work still needs to be completed in the Community Centre and field to maximise it's uses.
The CPT is led by a small group of volunteers and we are looking for a minimum of 2 more to add strength to the team, specifically we are looking for expertise in the legal and communications fields.
Do you think you could spare a couple of hours a month to help keep the wheels turning as well as they are now?

High Bickington CPT AGM is being held on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 starting at 7pm in the David Brown Hall. ALL RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND (voting will be restricted to shareholders only).
Light refreshments are available. Any member unable to attend can pick up a form of proxy from Louise in the office.

A big thank you to Louise and High Bickington Community Centre for allowing our Greyshirts to camp at the centre during DIY SOS.

As a thank you we have been helping to fix the crumbling steps to the playing field.

High Bickington Community Centre has been very proud and honoured to provide DIY SOS, the stars, the production and all the crew, the use of our wonderful facilities over the past 2 weeks. This is something that we will never forget.
Most of all, the Collins’s house is now a place they can call home and be a family. Simply amazing.❤️

Today, work has started on our steps which have been out of action. HUGE thanks to the DIY SOS team for organising this for us and to the volunteers who are working so hard on the build and have taken time out to start these for us. What an awesome bunch of people we have here 👌🏻😃
