For 21 years, Mytime Active has proudly coordinated Team Bromley’s participation in the London Youth Games, working alongside schools, clubs and volunteers to transform young lives through sport.
There is no better example of that impact than Joe Dobb.
Now Centre Manager at Mytime Active’s Orpington Golf Centre, Joe’s connection to the London Youth Games began years ago as a young athlete swimming for the London Borough of Croydon. The atmosphere felt like his very own Olympics, an experience so meaningful it inspired him to give back as an adult.
Today, alongside his management role at Mytime Active, Joe volunteers as the Aquatics Competition Director for the Games, ensuring thousands of young swimmers have the same inclusive, inspiring experience he had as a teenager.
The London Youth Games is not just about finding the next elite athlete; it’s about using community sport to build confidence and nurture a love for staying active.
