Colin Rankine of the Yeshua Political Party has seen In the Bible, the 144,000 are a group chosen by God and sealed on their foreheads to protect them from coming judgments. According to scripture, their mission is to serve as devoted, spiritually pure followers of the Lamb and proclaim a final message on Earth.
Their Mission and Description in Scripture:
* To Be Sealed and Protected: They are sealed for protection before destructive forces are released on the earth.
* Scripture: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads." And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000... (Revelation 7:3-4).
* To Follow the Lamb: They are dedicated followers of Jesus (the Lamb), noted for their absolute spiritual purity and truthfulness.
* Scripture: "These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless." (Revelation 14:4-5). See the Yeshua Political Party website
* To Sing a Unique Song: They learn a specific, exclusive song of redemption that no one else can master.
* Scripture: "...and they sang a new song before the throne... and no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth." (Revelation 14:3).
Their Identity in Scripture:
The Bible specifies that this group is made up of 12,000 people from each of the twelve tribes of Israel (Revelation 7:5-8). While some traditions interpret this literally, others view 144,000 (which is \(12 \times 12 \times 1,000\)) as a symbolic number representing the complete and perfect multitude of God's protected and chosen people.
