One out, one in 👋💨

Out with the old 4kW ABAC B60 and in with a new Tanair TAN-PCB 5.5kW piston compressor for this cast pump unit.

The ABAC has done its job over the years, but it had got to the point where continuing to repair and maintain an ageing compressor just didn’t make sense.

Its replacement is a 5.5kW, 415V Tanair TAN-PCB, delivering 28.3 CFM at 10 bar with a 200 litre receiver. A nice little upgrade and much better suited to keeping up with the demand.

You don’t always have to wait until a compressor completely gives up before replacing it. Sometimes it makes far more sense to plan the change before you’re left with no air and unexpected downtime.

Old one out, new one in. Job done 👌

🔧 20+ years of working together and another compressor added to the system.

We've been looking after Arcadian Products in Birmingham for more than 20 years, so we know their compressed air requirements have changed as their manufacturing has grown.

This time, the next step was a Tanair TAN-S-22VSD 22kW variable-speed screw compressor, providing up to 112 CFM at 10 bar.
Arcadian has a busy manufacturing setup, with CNC machining, fabrication, welding, power press work and powder coating all taking place in-house. Reliable compressed air is an important part of keeping that production moving.

A long-standing customer relationship isn't built on one installation. It's built by understanding how a business changes, giving the right advice when equipment needs replacing or upgrading, and being there afterwards.

We're pleased to continue supporting Arcadian for another stage of their journey.

Except these compressors don't get to go home at the end of the day! 😂

We recently worked on the compressors at Brean Ride, replacing the existing equipment with new units.

The Piston NB7 on Magic Mouse and CompAir L05 on Air Ride have both had their turn, with the old compressors removed and their replacements put in place.

A before-and-after like this is always satisfying to see, but there's an important reason for replacing ageing equipment too. As compressors get older, keeping on top of maintenance becomes increasingly important, and eventually replacement can make more sense than continuing to repair an ageing unit.
