Castle Vale Pool User Group

Castle Vale Pool User Group Castle Vale Pool User Group is a community project supported by volunteers.

We are dedicated to teaching both children and adults of any ability from the age of 6 months upwards. We as a group have won a number of awards and meet on a Saturday from 12pm till 1pm at the Castle Pool on Castle Vale to provide FREE swimming lessons. Whether you have never swam before, are scared of swimming or just looking to improve your swimming ability, we would like to see you come along

and to help you. We as a group are committed to not only helping to teach swimming at no cost but also to the running of the pool. Once a year we also hold a Water Festival where the children and adults get to showcase there improved skills in a celebration. At this event the local Fire Service, Police Service, local Councillors and MP's usually attend to help with the celebrations.

Lee Crofts does loads to help the community and has been a diamond throughout the pandemic, whether it’s getting food to the people who need it whilst helping run the food bank or generally cheering people up with his Bingo, Quizzes or his Dadbelly Discos.
