What matters most to you when it comes to keeping your community safe?

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service does much more than respond to fires. We help prevent emergencies, protect people and businesses, and prepare for a wide range of risks across Lancashire.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) sets out how we’ll help keep Lancashire safer over the next five years.

Earlier this year, we asked what matters most to our communities, and your feedback helped shape our draft plan.

Now, we want to hear what you think about the risks we’ve identified and how we plan to prevent and respond to them.

With the bank holiday weekend just around the corner, why not give your car a treat and support two great causes at the same time?

Join us at Blackburn Fire Station on Saturday 29th August, from 1pm to 4pm, for a charity car wash.

All money raised will go to Fire Fighters Charity and FireSport UK, helping to support the fire service community.

On GCSE Results Day, our staff attended Accrington & Rossendale College to speak with young people about the King's Trust 12-week Team Programme based at Blackburn Fire Station.

Firstly, congratulations to everyone who received the GCSE results they were hoping for. You should be proud of your achievements.

If your results weren't quite what you expected, don't worry. There are still plenty of options and opportunities available.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) outlines how we'll help keep Lancashire safer over the next five years.

Following feedback from our communities, partners and employees earlier this year, we've developed our draft plan and are now launching the second phase of our consultation.

Wildfires can leave lasting damage that remains long after the flames have been extinguished, and the impact is not always visible.

If you're planning to visit Darwen Moor over the next couple of weeks, please stick to public footpaths and bridleways and avoid venturing onto open access land. This will help the damaged ground and plant life recover.

With warm, dry conditions expected to continue, please help protect Lancashire’s countryside by packing a picnic instead of using a BBQ, never discarding ci******es and taking all litter home with you.
