Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a very unique amusement park in England, which has grown extremely wild over the last 125 years(!). 12 roller coasters, whose tracks are often spectacularly intertwined, stretch across the site on different levels. The last big novelty from 2018 is ICON, a Mack Rides multi-launch coaster. Don't ask me how they did it, but again this coaster goes over, under and through other existing attractions. It is really unique! Overall, ICON is a great ride and I really had a good time back in 2018 at Blackpool Pleasure Beach photographing their new attraction for Mack Rides.

Another "incredible" roller coaster on my list is Hulk Universals Islands of Adventure (). This ride has fascinated me since the very beginning of me being a roller coaster enthusiast. Ever since I heard about this roller coaster, I've been dying to go to the US. In 2010, the time had come. I scraped together all my savings from my student jobs and flew to Orlando. It was worth every penny! Since then I have been there seven times, sometimes twice a year. And every time I walk by the incredible Hulk, I remember how important this roller coaster has been for my career.

Nemesis at Alton Towers is one of the most iconic roller coasters ever build and has a rather unconventional layout due to the special regulations that apply to each attraction at Alton Towers. The so-called tree top height restriction states that no attraction is allowed to tower above the tree tops. In addition, there are certain points in the surrounding area from which the park must also be invisible, so that the landscape is not affected. This leads to the fact that - where other parks with impressive skylines can already be seen from far away - attractions in Alton Towers are rather creatively integrated into the landscape and be hidden. This results in a ride close to the ground in this Bolliger and Mabillard Inverted Coaster through various rocky gorges, which is something very special.

I'm a big fan of the Gerstlauer Bobsled Coaster! Despite the fact that I took these photos on the hottest day of 2019, Tiki-Waka is the coolest of them all!

I rode almost every major installation of it and never got disappointed. It really is a super family-friendly and smooth ride.
