The Blackpool King's Trust Team has spent the last two weeks, digging out brambles and nettles at Park Community Academy. Then then created a forest school area and a safe place for the children to play and learn.

We are currently taking names for the next 12 weeks Team Programme, due to start in September. If you know any 16-25 year olds (on 31st August) who ard not in work or education, please email [email protected]

Incident: Queens Promenade, Blackpool

Earlier this evening, we had five fire engines and several vehicles from North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Lancashire Police in attendance at a commercial property fire on Queens Promenande, Blackpool.

The incident has now been reduced to one fire engine, alongside multiple appliances from our emergency services partners.

There is still a section of Queens Promenade closed and local road closures in place.

We would like to thank our partner agencies and the local public for their support, co-operation and understanding during this on-going incident.

We currently have six fire engines in attendance at reports of a commercial building fire on Lytham Road, Blackpool.
There are road closures in place so we ask the public to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid the area, thank you.
