It's been another busy week working on behalf of residents across Little Lever and Darcy Lever.

A large part of my week has been spent dealing with enquiries and concerns from residents, both by phone, email and in person. While I can't always share the full details due to confidentiality, every issue raised is taken seriously and followed up.

I've held meetings with council officers regarding a range of planning, highways and environmental matters, pushing for progress on issues that residents have asked me to raise.

I also discussed with two seperate housing providers anti-social behaviour (ASB) concerns and housing issues, ensuring that your experiences are being heard and that the appropriate action is being taken.

Alongside casework, I've attended a number of council meetings, scrutinising reports, questioning decisions made to make sure your voice is represented when it comes to council spending, transparency and how the authority responds to local concerns. Holding the council to account remains one of our most important pledges.

As Reform councillors, we promised to be honest, open and transparent. That's why from now on we'll be publishing all of our voting records on our councillor pages. We believe every resident has the right to see exactly how their elected councillors vote on the issues that affect our town.

Work is also continuing behind the scenes on future proposals. Next week we'll be submitting another motion on behalf of residents. Once it has been formally published, I'll share the full details with you.
