One of our services celebrates the official opening of the "Retreat" with a Farewell afternoon tea with Jade Corporate Procurement Manager as Jade leaves the company for new ventures.
They had a lovely time, delicious food, cakes made by their Project Worker.
Residents wanted to thank Jade and shared with her the difference the retreat will make to them.
We have already had two residents who do not usually engage in the outdoor space utilise the space which is amazing to see.
A resident has said "Thank you, I am using it after my training sessions and coming to relax" and another said "I am using it for a safe place to listen to music on my headphones instead of shutting myself in my room, I feel safe in it"
Jade shared that she was pleased they was able to get the job finished before she leaves as it has been lovely seeing it in use and the difference it will make.
