This week is National Volunteers Week. All our members are 100% volunteers. They all give their time for free. Without them there would be no team. Let’s celebrate our members and all volunteers.

Officers who located a missing man from Farnham Royal yesterday, following a missing person investigation, have the following update.

A body was sadly found last night in Maidenhead Thicket area following extensive searches carried out by officers, Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue team, Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs, and Buckinghamshire Search & Rescue team.

Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we believe this to be Lee, aged 26.

His family have been informed, and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Update from Thames Valley Police on our recent callout.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with their family, friends, and all those affected at this difficult time.

We were deployed in support of Berkshire Lowland Search & Rescue - BLSAR.

We would like to acknowledge the efforts of all those involved in the search. Whilst a sad outcome we are incredibly proud of the professionalism and concerted effort throughout the search.
