Finchingfield

Finchingfield In the time of William the Conqueror it was called Phincingfelda. It has been described as "the most photographed village in England".

Finchingfield is regarded as a 'picture-postcard' village with a duck pond and village green surrounded by Georgian and medieval cottages; a church and public houses etc. Views of the well known green, pond, cottages and church are often to be found on calendars, tea towels and postcards.

Both have a large Hot Tub and BBQ and are surrounded by beautiful countryside.

If you do plan to venture away from Toppesfield Hall, the village is only an 8 min stroll, where you can enjoy wonderful scenery and a drink in our local pub 🥂

Or venture a little further if you wish to visit other local attractions including Finchingfield Hedingham Castle Braintree Village Love Lavenham
