Today we are out campaigning in Brentwood West ward with a team led by Conservative Candidate Terry Brant. Terry was delivering a thank you letter to residents, many of whom replied to our 2026 Local Resident Survey. A great turnout today at the launch of Essex Conservatives Local Election Campaign with Kemi Badenoch and many Essex Members of Parliament, including our local MP Alex Burghart.

We have full elections for Essex County Council and 1/3 of seats up in both Brentwood Borough and Epping Forest District Councils.

Make sure to make your vote count and vote Conservative 🗳️ on Thursday 7 May and keep Essex Conservative.

Too many overflowing litter bins around Brentwood Borough - only the Conservatives will get this problem sorted The LibDems and Labour administration running Brentwood council is just not on top of this important issue.

Local Conservatives here in Brentwood recently tabled an amendment to the council budget to introduce one hour free car parking in the three council car parks 🅿️ that serve Brentwood High Street .

Local councils need to help encourage people back into local High Streets. Reducing barriers to parking is one way to help boost the local economy.

Despite us having reported it through the proper channels the graffiti at our local multi-storey at Coptfold Road, Brentwood still persists. The LibDem/Labour administration currently running our council is just not on top of these issues. If you live locally there will be local elections here on 7 May where you can vote for a cleaner, safer and better Borough with the Conservatives. 🗳️ 🗳️ 🗳️

Today would have been our friend and colleague Cllr Mark Reed’s birthday and this afternoon his family, our Mayor and Mayoress, local residents, council officers and colleagues from across the council chamber attended a service to unveil a wooden bench located at Mosbach pond in Hutton South to remember him. Thank you to everyone who helped to deliver this tribute. Rest in peace dear Mark ✝️
