We had an extremely generous donation of materials from a local business to help us with our community development project. We want to say a huge thank you!
We were able to make a bench tonight so people can make the most of the glorious weather and enjoy Pencoed Pavilion.
Had a great reception from the young people there - who thoroughly enjoyed being able to socialise in comfort.
Request was made for one at the Skate Park

We had quite the production line going last week - happy to have any guys come along to help - the more the merrier
Hopefully we can get some bulbs in so that we can have Pencoed Pavilion looking fantastic for years to come

Here’s a little update on what’s been happening since we did our Pristhetic Limb dismantling last month.
Stand: We Walk Together collected over 900 legs from across the uk - we contributed over 50 of them. Not a bad afford from some guys in a village shed!

Fantastic effort by everyone last night. Planter Version 2 is well under way - made in 1 session. Great to see us pull together as a team to get a great result.
We’re looking at getting a few more of these done before the weather turns and hopefully add a bench too - Pencoed Pavilions is going to look fantastic!

I want say a massive thanks to all the guys for their efforts over the last few weeks. We’ve dismantled 53 prosthetic legs - which is the most we’ve done so far.
This has been a regular project at Pencoed Men’s Shed and as a result we’ve helped over 100 amputees in Sub Saharan Africa to walk again
The work everyone has put in will make a real difference to people lives
