We have just had a delivery of outdoor food waste bins at Bridport Library! If you came in recently and we had run out, we now have plenty in stock so feel free to pop on in.

If you need a new food waste bin (outdoor or indoor) or a glass recycling box, you can collect them from Bridport Library. All you need to do is request one on the Dorset Council website (link below).

Just think - a month ago we had a very special visitor to the library - where does the time go?
Bridport Library were delighted to host two book signing sessions with the fantastic Michael Rosen following his two sold-out shows at Bridport's Electric Palace. 📚

The queues were enormous, but Michael made sure that every single person had the chance to have their books signed, take photographs and enjoy a memorable moment with him.

The first photo shows some of the Bridport Library team with Michael. In the second, Michael is holding a thank you card that was presented to him, filled with messages from attendees who wanted to share their appreciation and tell him how much the day meant to them.

A huge thank you to Michael Rosen for his generosity, kindness and patience, and to everyone who came along and helped make the signings so special.

These are popular and bestselling titles available in the library that you can borrow for 1 or 2 weeks, to keep them in circulation - and they are not able to go off for reservations in other libraries.
