Today a very loved member of the Bromley community leaves to take on a very exciting new challenge. Sykes has given a great deal to bromley and his dedication leadership and support have made a real difference to the squadron and to the cadets he has worked with here. While we are sad to see him leave we are incredibly proud of what he has achieved here and excited to see what he will accomplish in his new role at Sidcup thank you Sykes for everything you have done for Bromley. Once part of the Bromley, always part of the Bromley. And in honour of Sykes leaving we put on the song that was played ever coach drive to an event and back, Stacy’s mum

We have had a busy couple of months.

We started with a trip to the Atlassian Williams F1 Team STEM day where cadets were undertaking multiple different activities to do with STEM. The cadets also tried out the F1 Simulator and it’s safe to say when they get a license I will be staying off the roads.

We then proceeded to undertake multiple different nights at the Squadron. A lot of leadership evening training has taken part as this is a key skill that the cadets will use in their civilian life as well as cadet life.

We then attended St Christopher's Fun Walk in Keston for the 4th year in a row. At this event we assisted with Medals, Carrying water, moving items, packing up gazeebos you name it we did it and Keston Fun Walk is one of the events we look forward to.

We then had the privilege of being invited to the Practice for the Kings Birthday Parade, whilst the rain was pouring and the cadets were trying to stay dry under 1 tree it was an enjoyable day for all.

And finally, this weekend just gone Sgt Scarrott attended the Capel Le Ferne Battle of Britain parade as part of the wing band whereby she was awarded her Bronze Music Badge by a very high ranking officer within the RAF. Well done Sergeant.
