Friends of Jubilee Country Park

Friends of Jubilee Country Park The Friends of Jubilee Country Park work to protect and conserve this important local amenity in a variety of ways.

A page by The Friends of Jubilee Country Park volunteers to share details of our regular volunteering opportunities, walks, talks and any other news or events connected to Jubilee. Jubilee Country Park is local Nature Reserve of 62 acres of neutral grassland meadows and woodland that support a variety of wildlife including species that are rare in London. Volunteers take part in conservation work

to help amphibians, birds, butterflies, insects, mammals, reptiles and wild flowers that live on this precious piece of our local environment. We also promote the Park by organising guided walks and talks.

Following our successful Butterfly Hunt event yesterday we wanted to thank Peter Smart again for leading our walk, those who helped volunteer and the over 20 people who joined us.

We wanted to share these photos of some of the butterflys found (Small Copper, Small Heath and Comma) as well as photos shared by Sarah Coulbert of a Brown Argus and Common Blue butterfly that she took during yesterday's event.

Thank you to those who attended and helped make it a great event!
