LABOUR CAN PAY FOR ITS OWN FIGHT AGAINST REFORM. KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF TAXPAYERS’ MONEY.

A fund announced by Angela Rayner was supposed to help communities recover after the disorder that followed the Southport murders.

Now GB News reports that money from that scheme supported training which warned of an “impending disaster of a Reform UK government”.

Think about that. Money meant to help communities rebuild, supporting material attacking a party those same taxpayers are perfectly entitled to vote for.

The report identifies £13,450 from Birmingham City Council and £9,000 from Blackpool Council for programmes run by the Ella Baker School of Organising. These payments deserve proper scrutiny.

Labour needs to answer some straightforward questions. What safeguards were put in place? Who checked where the funding went? And what will ministers do if it paid for party-political activity?

A statement saying councils aren’t allowed to do it is nowhere near enough. Publish the funding records. Investigate the spending. Recover every penny found to have been misused.

Here’s a thought for Labour: if you’re worried about people voting Reform, try giving them a reason to trust you. Start by treating their money with some respect.

Voters who question immigration policy or demand better public services don’t need their political opinions corrected at public expense. They need politicians who listen.

Labour is welcome to take us on. We’ll have that argument openly.

But fund your own politics. Taxpayers are not Labour’s campaign donors.

🚨 WAIT A MINUTE… THIS IS EXTRAORDINARY!

Worcestershire Conservatives are demanding that local Green Party members condemn their party’s motion or RESIGN their membership!

Well, isn’t that interesting!

Does everybody remember what happened back in May?

VOTE TORY, GET GREEN! 🌳

And guess what? That’s exactly what happened!

It wasn’t just the then Leader of the Worcestershire Conservative Group who SECONDED the nomination of a Green Party councillor to lead Worcestershire County Council.

The CONSERVATIVE GROUP joined other parties in backing Matt Jenkins to become Leader!

And their own Group Leader went on to become his Deputy!

Yes, Conservative headquarters subsequently suspended him. But that doesn’t change what happened in County Hall!

And what are Worcestershire Conservatives doing now?

Posting on Facebook telling members of another political party to RESIGN!

You really couldn’t make it up! 😂

Of course the Green Party’s motion deserves scrutiny. But if the Conservatives want to lecture others about accountability, perhaps they should examine their own record first.

And if resigning your party membership is now their standard for political accountability, perhaps a few Conservatives should consider taking their own advice!

Political accountability works both ways.

And to everyone who remembers what happened in May…

🇬🇧 LABOUR TALKS TOUGH ON DEFENCE. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO DELIVERING, IT’S THE SAME OLD STORY!

Wes Streeting has a serious problem. And this time, his own words have come back to haunt him.

When asked whether he would resign if the Treasury failed to provide the defence funding Britain needs, Labour’s Defence Secretary gave a very clear answer.

“Absolutely.”

Fast forward three months, and reports suggest Labour could now push back its defence spending review until late 2027.

So, Mr Streeting, what happened to standing by your principles?

Our Armed Forces have been hollowed out after years of political failure. The Conservatives spent years running down Britain’s military strength, and now Labour appears more interested in delaying difficult decisions than delivering the investment our country needs.

Meanwhile, the threats facing Britain aren’t getting any smaller.

Our servicemen and women don’t have the luxury of putting their duties off until next year. So why should the politicians responsible for supporting them?

🇬🇧 REFORM UK HAS A DIFFERENT APPROACH.

✅ Commit to spending 3.5% of GDP on defence by 2035.

✅ Rebuild Britain’s Armed Forces and restore our military strength.

✅ Invest in equipment, capability and combat readiness.

✅ Restore morale and properly support the brave men and women who serve our country.

✅ Put national security and military effectiveness ahead of political ideology.

Our position is simple. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.

Britain should be respected by its allies and taken seriously by its adversaries.

We need a Government prepared to defend our country, not one that makes grand promises and then hides behind another spending review.

And as for Wes Streeting?

If you were serious about resigning over inadequate defence funding, the British public deserves to know whether you still stand by that promise.

Because the defence of our nation is far more important than protecting a Labour minister’s career.

You genuinely couldn't make this up.

I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.

The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.

But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.

That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.

It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
