Fynelassies

Fynelassies We are a small group of women who swim at St Catherines , Loch Fyne and at Duck Bay, Loch Lomond. It’s what makes us happy πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈπŸ’œ Come along and join us οΏ½

We love a good blether, a laugh and are known to burst into song when swimming. We swim at St Catherines most weekends. I also swim at Duck Bay Loch Lomond at 7am during the week apart from a Tuesday which is 7pm.

Karen, Hollie , John , Niall, Willow , Steve , Bruno and Cupcake all had great fun jumping in the waves. Bit cooler today, not humid which is a bonus. Water was lovely! It was full of Salps which are small, clear, gelatinous, barrel-shaped marine animals that frequently wash up on Outer Banks (OBX) beaches. Often mistaken for jellyfish eggs or jellyfish themselves, they are completely harmless to humans. They do not sting and are entirely safe for beachgoers and pets.
It did feel weird swimming in them. Cupcake got a proper swim in the water but Bruno stayed on shore. Great fun!
