Camberley Remembrance Sunday Parade
The Camberley Branch of the RBL and The Remembrance Community Committee is delighted to announce that, subject to the agreed parade arrangements, the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey will be represented at this year's Camberley Remembrance Sunday Parade by Brigadier Paul Evans OBE DL, who will take the salute on her behalf.
This is an important recognition of the significance of Camberley's Remembrance Sunday Parade and reflects the importance of our community coming together to honour all those who have served. Please read our full press release below.

Come and Join Us at the Frimley Green Carnival!
The Royal British Legion Camberley Branch is delighted to be taking part in this year's Frimley Green Carnival on Sunday 12th July, and we'd love to see you there!
As we proudly celebrate our 105th Anniversary, we're looking forward to spending the day with our friends, members, veterans and the local community that has supported us for generations. Our Branch has enjoyed a long and valued association with Frimley and Frimley Green, and we're proud to continue that tradition.
Find us on Pitch No. 4, where we'll be running a fun Fluffy Toys Tombola with lots of fantastic prizes for all ages. Every ticket sold will help us continue supporting veterans, serving personnel and their families in our community.
Whether you're a member, veteran, supporter, or simply enjoying a great family day out, please come along, say hello, and help us celebrate 105 years of service, friendship and community.

A Wonderful Celebration of 105 Years of Service and Friendship ☕

The Royal British Legion Camberley Branch would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Surrey Heath Age Concern for partnering with us to host our Veterans' Tea Party, celebrating the 105th Anniversary of the Camberley Branch.

We were delighted to welcome so many members, veterans, friends and supporters to The Cosy Corner Café on 30th June, making it a truly memorable afternoon filled with friendship, laughter and community spirit.

A special thank you goes to Deputy Mayor, Councillor Mary Glauert, for joining us to mark this important milestone. We were also deeply honoured to be joined by our very special guest, Veteran Val Harvey, aged 103, whose presence made the celebration even more meaningful.

The afternoon would not have been complete without the wonderful selection of homemade cakes kindly baked by our members. Your generosity and support helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that everyone enjoyed.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped celebrate 105 years of the Royal British Legion Camberley Branch. Together we continue to honour our veterans, support our Armed Forces community, and strengthen the friendships that make our Branch so special.

Thank you all for making it such a memorable occasion.

🌺 CAMBERLEY REMEMBRANCE PARADE 2026 🌺

The Royal British Legion Camberley Branch is pleased to confirm that the Camberley Remembrance Parade, Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place this year.

Over the past six months there has been much discussion regarding the future organisation of this important community event. We know many veterans, serving personnel, cadets, community groups and residents have been concerned about its future.

Today, we are pleased to provide an update and confirm that Remembrance in Camberley will continue.

The following statement outlines the arrangements that have been put in place, recognises those who have supported the process, and sets out the way forward for ensuring that this important tradition remains at the heart of our community.
