🏴 On 7 May, people across Wales voted for a new direction - for a government that believes in Wales, puts its people first, and stands up for our country.
Today, as we mark the first 100 days of a Plaid Cymru Government, we can already see that new direction in action.
For too long, Wales was told to settle for less. We were promised little and expected to accept it.
Plaid Cymru is changing that.
In our first 100 days in government, we have:
🚑 Invested £145 million more in our NHS - to cut waiting lists, invest in preventative health and fix our hospitals
❤️ Delivered 12.5 hours of funded childcare for EVERY two-year-old in Wales - the first step towards our ambition to transform the cost of childcare for families across Wales.
✊ Demanded fairness for Wales from the Labour Government in Westminster - including on the £5 billion owed in rail funding from HS2, and pushing for local control of our police.
🚌 Invested in better public transport - including a new north-south bus route and extending the £1 bus fare for young people.
🚜 Given farmers greater certainty - with a three-year, £1 billion funding commitment for the Sustainable Farming Scheme, helping farmers plan and invest for the future.
📚 Put a new focus on raising education standards - including £40 million more for school buildings and increased incentives to recruit teachers.
🏠 Taken action to make homes more affordable and energy efficient - with £20 million to build new social housing, £17 million for home energy efficiency and plans to introduce a new Renters' Bill.
Practical changes that will make a real difference to people's lives - and laying the foundations for lasting change for our country.
This is new leadership in action - and we're just getting started.
💚 We're choosing hope and ambition over Labour's disappointment and Reform's politics of division.
✊ We're building a better, fairer Wales - for every community and every generation.
The first 100 days are just the beginning...
