Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, our performances of Verdi’s Rigoletto in Chester has been cancelled.

We know many audience members were looking forward to this performance, and we sincerely apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.

The tour will continue in:
• Llangollen – 13 May
• Liverpool – 16 May (matinee & evening)
• Shrewsbury – 17 May

This bronze bust of Sir Horatio Lloyd captures more than a likeness — it captures status and power.
The detailed wig and formal pose speak to an era when appearance reflected authority, and that's certainly true of our friend! Lloyd was born in Chester and served as County Court Judge and Recorder of Chester. A Freemason, Lloyd was at one time Deputy Grand Master of Cheshire and Wales!

Sculptures like this still serve today as lasting reminders of influence, placed where future generations could see and remember those who helped shape the city’s civic past.
