Work is well underway, and the base will be completed in the next week 😃🎉 Whittakersdiggers have been working hard in the sun 🥵
It seems an impossible task to be hedgehog free while the work is being done, I took in 5 very young ones at the weekend, all from different areas, so I have 7 in care currently 😅

It's going to be amazing when it's completed🎆 🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔 🙌🥰

For the last 6 years, my life has revolved around hedgehogs. 🦔💗

Late nights. Early mornings. Emergency rescues. Feeding babies. Endless washing. Vet trips. Tears, worry, exhaustion… and the incredible feeling of watching a little hog recover and go back where they belong.

What started with helping one hedgehog slowly turned into a full rescue — and honestly, I never imagined just how many would need help.

But I’m now at the point where I desperately need a proper space for them.

We have been fundraising for a dedicated Hogspital/ garden room, and amazingly, we've found a company willing to build it for us at COST, Whittakersdiggers 🎉🥰

They have been absolutely brilliant and have some great ideas to make the building even better, this dream is finally within reach ❤️

This space would mean:
🦔 More room to help with the constant stream of rescues coming in
🦔 The ability to save even more lives
🦔 Space to accommodate volunteers

If any local businesses would like to support us, we would be incredibly grateful. Supporting local wildlife and helping protect hedgehogs is also an investment in our environment and biodiversity for the future 🦔🌿
