The Donkey Derby will be on Sunday July 12 this year. We are looking for jockeys!
They must be aged 10 to 13, be able to ride at a canter and weigh less than 50kg.
Please direct message if you are a parent with a child that would like to ride.
Please note we do not have room for any more stallholders.

27F is proud to announce the promotion of our newest Cadet Warrant Officer, CWO Bird.

After months of hard work and interviews CWO Bird was promoted at squadron on Monday evening. He has shown outstanding dedication to cadets and leadership skills throughout his career so far.

We’re looking forward to seeing where he is going to take this new stage of his career. We’re sure that he will make us proud and continue to inspire all those around him.

Recently cadets from our squadron travelled to 12F squadron for No1 Sector training camp.

We’re proud to say that all of these cadets did amazing on the camp and put in lots of effort to succeed in what they were tasked.

They completed a navigation task collecting points while using map reading skills to find their way. A night expedition involving teamwork to complete tasks in the dark. Along with several leadership and first aid challenges during the day.

We’re also pleased to say thank you to APO Corlett, Sgt Duff and Cpl Pattrick who went on the camp as first aid staff, flight commander and section commander to help the cadets and run the camp.

All of our cadets passed the camp showing a testament to their attitude towards problems, and dedication towards cadets. Keep working hard and trying your best.
