☀️ Hot weather update ☀️

Due to high temperatures, our waste and recycling crews will be starting their rounds slightly earlier TOMORROW (Wednesday 12 August) and Thursday (13 August), to keep safe in the heat.

🚛 Please make sure your bins are out by 6.00am, not 7.00am, on your collection day.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your support in helping protect our teams in the heat – thank you, Chorley! ❤️

🚶🏻‍♀️🌼Entrances to Chorley Flower Show

If you're heading to Chorley Flower Show this weekend, 31 July to 2 August, there are two entrances for the show:

🚶🏻‍♀️Main entrance - via the Park Road/town centre entrance to Astley Park.
This entrance is ideal for visitors using town centre car parks or arriving via Chorley's main train and bus stations.

🚶🏻‍♀️Hallgate entrance – close to where the park and ride bus drops off, for those using Blue Badge only parking at Hallgate car park, or parking at West Way Sports Hub or Ackhurst Lodge car parks.

❗Please be aware: Visitors entering Astley Park via Ackhurst Lodge will need to walk around to the Hallgate entrance to access the show.
