Less than one week to go until 250+ holiday clubs open for bookings across and ! 🌞

From Monday 22nd June at 12pm, families can book free and paid spaces for five weeks of fun summer activities. A wide range of sessions, including primary, secondary, SEND, mental wellbeing and youth clubs, will keep young people active, engaged and social over the holidays.

Eligible families can book free spaces using their HolidayActivities voucher code, sent directly via email. Don’t miss out, as spaces will fill quickly! 🗓️

The Coach Core Apprenticeship programme is back in late 2026, giving young people a great pathway into sport and physical activity 💡

We’re looking for local organisations to get involved by mentoring and supporting young people aged 16–24, especially those not in education or employment, through the Level 2 Community Activator Coach apprenticeship.

We’d love to work with organisations that are well-connected in their communities and passionate about helping young people grow, gain confidence and thrive through sport and active lifestyles!

The Parish Council has received confirmation from Essex County Council that the online consultation portal will close TODAY for public comments.

However, if anyone wishes to submit any comments after today they can send an email directly to [email protected] where it will be logged on the application case file and taken into consideration when determining the application.

This is your reminder that May half term clubs with are now live to book! 🤸💚

Our free half term clubs support eligible families across , giving eligible school aged children the chance to enjoy fun sports and games, movement, creative activities, food education, and the chance to make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

There’s no voucher, code or referral needed, just head to the Active Essex website, open the Find Your Active Activity Finder, select “Programmes”, choose your local area and book directly with the club.
