Shocking figures!

Burglaries!
New figures are out which show that families and businesses in Gloucestershire are being left to fend for themselves as only 4% of burglary cases in Gloucestershire result in a charge.

In Gloucestershire a total of 2182 burglaries were recorded, according to crime figures from 2025 and just 3.7% of cases resulted in a charge, with 69% of cases closing without the police identifying a suspect.

I'm calling for an urgent restoration of neighbourhood police funding.

In my view all domestic burglaries should be attended by the police and properly investigated. Currently, the vast majority of burglars are getting away with the crimes they are committing.

I know that people get very worried when they see burglaries in their area. Let me know what you think.

Danny is our excellent candidate in the Blockley ward by election which takes place on 24 September. A local man, Danny is the sensible choice to represent Blockley and the neighbouring villages. He is best placed to stop the extreme policies of Reform and Tories.

It’s got to be Danny! Danny Loveridge, Cotswolds

I’m really pleased to endorse and support Danny Loveridge, Cotswolds who will be our candidate in the upcoming district council election in the Blockley Ward after the sitting councillor resigned.
Thanks to the outgoing councillor for her public service.
I’ve known Danny for 14 years. He’s North Cotswolds born and bred, hardworking and totally driven to serve the community.
Blockley’s one of my favourite Cotswold villages and has many positives but sorting out river pollution, helping with the cost of living and protecting our local hospital are all priorities for both Danny and I.

Just watching TV and the Farage speech on this hot afternoon.

Oh my goodness!! We thought something important was happening 🤷‍♂️

In the North Cotswolds the choice is clear - Nigel Farage and Reform, and his desperate need to be on TV and causing drama...or Paul Hodgkinson and the Lib Dems, who's served our area for 20 years without ever needing to resign and re-stand to reassure him he's loved!

Nigel Farage and his Reform party lurch from disaster to disaster. They are losing votes in polls, losing ground locally (from 2nd to 3rd in recent by elections in the Cotswolds), and not answering questions about the absurd 'gifts' he receives, and *all of today's theatrics are just fluff to distract from the investigation he is under by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner.

Meanwhile, the Lib Dems and our team of councillors keep working hard for their local area.
