The making of the first draft of The Strand Posts for my No.88 Signature Collection.

This design has been constantly on my mind for the past 48 hours and after visiting Portstewart Strand this morning, I couldn’t wait to get back to my studio and bring the idea to life.

For this first draft, I’ve used copper while I work on getting the shape and proportions right. The finished design will be handcrafted in sterling silver and 14ct gold filled.

Here’s the start of the journey from an idea inspired by the Causeway Coast to the finished piece.

What an incredible place to have a No.88 pop up. I loved displaying my jewellery in such a beautiful space and working with the style of the shop, it felt so special seeing No.88 there ✨

And a huge thank you to everyone at Jude Law for making me feel so welcome and so proud to be there.

One of my favourite parts of silversmithing is the soldering part. I love the colours, the noises, the process of melting silver 🔥
Here is a stunning recent commission I’ve made. My client wanted a chunkier look and a mix of the metals. I went for a thicker sterling silver and 14ct gold filled wire, paired with the eye catching diamond cut curb chain ✨

Getting back into my love of running and feeling very lucky to explore places like this. A run, a sea dip and a flask of coffee to finish… my favourite kind of morning✨
