To celebrate Carers Week, we enjoyed a relaxing wellbeing session with Sam Hare, featuring guided relaxation, gentle chair-based movement, aroma inhalers, and simple self-massage techniques. A wonderful opportunity for carers to take some time for themselves.

Dementia Friendly Screenings are specially adapted film showings designed to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for people living with dementia, along with their families, friends and carers.

The lights in the auditorium are kept slightly raised, the sound level is reduced, and audiences are free to move around, chat or come and go during the film if needed. These screenings aim to make the cinema experience comfortable and enjoyable, helping people continue to enjoy films and social outings in a supportive and understanding setting.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are living with dementia, supporting someone who is, or simply prefer a more relaxed cinema environment.

Think you might need a bit of a mental health MOT? 🛠️💙

Too often, we bottle things up until we hit a wall. But looking after your wellbeing shouldn’t feel like a formal chore or a clinical process. For Men’s Health Week 2026 (running from Monday 15th June to Sunday 21st June), we’re hosting a full week of relaxed, practical activities across the county. No judgment, no heavy jargon, and absolutely no GP referrals needed—just a space to connect, move, and take a breather.

Best of all? Every single session is 100% FREE for all men living in Conwy.

Taking that first small step to check in on yourself is the best thing you can do. Come along, bring a mate, or just show up as you are.

👇 Spaces are free but limited! Click the link below to see the full timetable and claim your spot:
