Billy and Lauren, Hoglets of Halli (disturbed nest from a few weeks ago) have ventured out the nest on their own AND discovered Royal Canin Mother & Babycat at the same time... double bonus 🏆🏆

They're around the 300g mark now so have enough baby teeth to enjoy the food 🙌🦔✅

Ernie from Castle Bytham nearly caught us out with one of his South Kesteven Door Huggers tonight...fortunately vigilance prevailed and a disaster was averted 🙏💩⚠️

Both Hoglets (as yet unnamed) now have their eyes open and are Splooting.

Today is 37°, they are in full shade with multiple CoolPads and if you look closely Mum is keeping a keen eye on them.

Thanks to the Vet Team at Oakham Veterinary Hospital Small Animal for seeing an injured Hedgehog from Corby on Monday.

Sadly as a result of the injuries sustained the agreed response was to euthananise the Hedgehog as the damage was not repairable.

This is a great example of a local Hedgehog Guardian who regularly watches both live Hedgehogs and Trail Cam footage to keep an eye on their local Wildies ✅📹🦔🙏

One of two 70g Hoglets who came from a disturbed nest in Lodge Park... luckily Mum who weighed in at 1049g was part of the bundle so she's currently doing her thing out in a Garden Suite.

She will be left alone for 2-3 weeks to ensure there is no risk of her harming her litter.

Introduction to Ernie from Castle Bytham who came in via Oakham Veterinary Hospital Small Animal

He's a big grumpy boy with a substantial Lungworm burden.

Currently enjoying free food and lodgings while on a Treatment Plan.
