Muddy Bus Stop Improved on Bricknell Avenue 🚌

Following reports from residents about having to stand on muddy grass at the bus stop outside The West Bulls on Bricknell Avenue, I reported the issue to East Riding Council.

I’m pleased to say that the area has now been tarmacked, providing passengers with a cleaner and safer place to wait.

Hull Road – Road-Safety Concerns

I’ve received several complaints about speeding and dangerous driving on Hull Road.

The council says the current collision and speed data does not justify prioritising further safety measures. However, I’m not satisfied that this fully reflects residents’ concerns. We shouldn’t have to wait for more people to be injured before preventative action is considered.

I’ve requested further speed monitoring and will also raise the concerns with Humberside Police, as dangerous driving needs targeted enforcement.

Please continue reporting incidents to the police, as this helps build the evidence needed for action.
