❄️ Are you part of the Armed Forces Community with engineering experience and ready to develop your skills in commercial refrigeration?

New engineering opportunity in Birmingham

Epta is recruiting an Improver Service Engineer to service, maintain and install commercial refrigeration equipment for a variety of customers.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain practical experience across systems ranging from multi-compressor CO₂ packs to integral hydrocarbon cases, while developing your refrigeration fault-finding, electrical and repair skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting with refrigeration servicing, maintenance and installation
-Learning fault-finding and repair techniques
-Developing your understanding of refrigeration and electrical systems
-Completing service reports and customer documentation using mobile technology
-Maintaining company tools, PPE and vehicle stock
-Following Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
-Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues
-Attending manufacturer and technical training courses

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £15–£16 per hour, depending on experience

Requirements:.
✅ F-Gas Category 1
✅ Full UK Driving Licence
✅ Electrical safety training
✅ Working at Height awareness
✅ A passion for engineering and technology
✅ Willingness to undertake further training and achieve industry qualifications
